I could hit you with the classic “a long time ago” opening—because, technically, it all started when I was 13. But let’s just skip over the teen shenanigans I somehow survived and fast-forward to the part where I decided to go to school and finally, you know, get a brain.
Ha! So, while I was juggling the pursuit of my Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design, I was also moonlighting in various print and production roles—
all while raising my then spirited 2-year-old son. Picture this: countless sleepless nights fueled by coffee and determination. It wasn’t a walk in the park, but with support and a whole lot of stubbornness, I crushed those seemingly impossible goals in my position.
My relentless drive didn’t just get me through those hectic years—it became the fuel for my entire career. Thanks to my unwavering perseverance, I’ve been able to continuously build on my skills and pursue further education, proving again, that if I work hard,
it can go a long way in turning dreams into reality
(and maybe even surviving toddler tantrums along the way).
I’ve kept my education journey alive over the years, balancing full-time work, raising my boys, and somehow squeezing in a Master’s in Communication, Advertising & Marketing. Would I recommend this chaotic juggling act? Absolutely not. But hey, here we are—shenanigans and all.
Now, I’ve taken on a new adventure, diving into a Digital Design certificate course at MassArt. It’s my way of pushing further into the creative world because, apparently, I can’t resist adding more to my plate!
In short, when you meet me, the pun will be noticed, and you’ll quickly realize I’m a multi-lingual, culturally rich individual who doesn’t quite grasp the concept of “enough.” My hobbies? Let’s just say they’re slightly ambitious. Dislikes? Sure, I have a few, but I can’t resist being outdoors. And humor? Oh, I use it to survive situations like talking about myself.
So, let’s pick up the phone or shoot me an email. We can chat, feel out the energy, and wonder if it’s tameable... spoiler alert: it’s not. ;)
I would love to meet and discuss all things design and photography.
Lets have some coffee while we're at it.
